Date chosen for fall hate crimes symposium

Organizers for the symposium on hate crimes have finalized a date for the event — Saturday, November 20, 2010. Planning for the event, envisioned to lift up all vicitms of hate crimes and articulate a Christian imperative to respond, is gathering momentum. MIND activists gather for worship and work

On April 17, over 60 MIND members and supporters came together for a day of sharing, healing and planning.

Everyone is welcome at this table.

We began the day with a worship service, a first for MIND, which has concentrated its gatherings on nuts and bolts organizing. It was a time to ground ourselves in our faith.
